Oneness of Allah
Touheed is the oneness of Allah, it
is for most important tenant and it is the first pillar of the Islam. A Muslim
cannot be called a Muslim unless he believes in touheed. It requires a person
to believe in the singleness of Allah in His every attribute and every
existence. It is also necessary to utter these words orally. A Muslim then
requires to perform every action by the faith and his every action should
reflect that Allah is one and the only master to be worshiped besides him no
one has authority.
This tenet requires the belief that
this universe does not come into its fashion accidentally or without any force,
there must be a creator, a sustainer, an organizer, an authority, a ruler, and
an organizer who makes it all possible to happen for a cause. And that is Allah
the only GOD. He is always taking care of it all the time continuously.
The Quranic verses and the hadith of
the prophet Muhammad ﷺ are the sources and evidence of Allah’s oneness and existence, if
any one individual gets into touch with these verses and ponders over them
without biasedness the only way remains for him is to accept the touheed
because the magnificence.
Now here are some of the arguments
that show the existence of Allah’s presence.
وَٱلشَّمْسُ
تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ ٣٨ وَٱلْقَمَرَ
قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ ٣٩ لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ
يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ
فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ ٤٠
In these verses of the surah, Ya-sin
Allah has reflected that there is a power who set the nights and the days and
manages the sun and the moon in their orbits, they are not wondering here and
there without any power, but there is the ultimate power of the God who is
managing all the activities all the time. Like these ayahs, there are many
other ayahs in Quran like surah fatir, surah Mulk, and many other verses in the
Quran that have this evidence.
Argument from agriculture:
Have you ever wondered when a
cultivator sows the seed, what power has it to burst and grow the leave from
the seeds? These tender leaves grow from a nonliving seed only by the
permission and the will of Allah. The seedling is so weak that even a little
child can destroy it, but this seedling with the time and power of Allah makes
that seedling a tree with a very rigid trunk and steam that even a power full
machine cannot affect it. Now think of the while who has given a small tree
that power it is only Allah.
Or sometimes the wild herbs and trees
grow without any source of irrigation that provide the sustenance for that tree
to grow which is Allah.
Arguments from mulching animals
If you ever pounder over the process
of milk making. You will astonish to see the process. The animals eat the grass
or fodder this food goes straight into the stomach where digestion takes
place. It makes the blood in the upper
part and dung in the lower part and in the middle part, the milk is made. See
how the creator is creating a pure and white liquid prepared from the process
of digestion of green fodder with the dark color of dung the milk is white
while the blood and dung are or other colors. Who is it, it is only Allah who
is creating this amazing blessing for us.
This evidence is also mention in the
Holy Quran in surah nahal
وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ
فِى ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ لَعِبْرَةًۭ ۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ
فَرْثٍۢ وَدَمٍۢ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًۭا سَآئِغًۭا لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ ٦٦
And
there is certainly a lesson for you in cattle: We give you to drink of what is
in their bellies, from between digested food and blood: pure milk, pleasant to
drink.
