What does Muslims believes about the passage: “And Muhammad is the messenger of Allah Almighty”

And Muhammad is the Messenger of God

"And Muhammad is the Messenger of God" This expression is the second component of Shahada. As such this statement occurs in Surah 48:29 of the Quran. According to Muslim faith, Holy Prophet Muhammad , like other prophetic messengers, was a man chosen by Allah. Angel Jibril brought Divine revelation to him, and this revelation is contained in the script called the Holy Quran. He also suffered opposition and persecution. The message received by Prophet Muhammad is perfect, universal and for all times. The Quran mentions this perfection in 5:3

"Today, I have perfected your religion for you, and have completed My blessings upon you, and chosen Islam as Deen (religion and a way of life) for you".

This message doesn't need any renewal because Allah Himself guarantees its immunity against corruption in 15:9

"We, Ourselves, have sent down the Dhikr (the Quran), and We are there to protect it".

This means the message of the Quran is for all communities and for all times. Just like the message received by him, Messenger of Allah's personality is also a model of excellence. Allah combined the qualities and merits of all the prophets and messengers in the person of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. 33:21 mentions this:

"There is indeed a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah".

As a result of all this, he also enjoys the unique status of being the seal of prophets. Just as a document is sealed after its completion, the long chain of prophethood was concluded on the Messenger of Allah. The Holy Quran confirms this categorically, in 33:40:

"Muhammad is not a father of any of your men, but he is a messenger of Allah, and the seal of the prophets".
